“Direct to Consumer Genetic Testing”
The Central Illinois CPCU Society Chapter is pleased to have Dr. William Ray speak with us about genetic testing and the potential impacts for the insurance industry. Dr. Ray has served as a Medical Director at State Farm since 1993. He has been involved in both underwriting and claims in life, disability income, and long term care insurance for the duration of his career. He also maintains a clinical practice and is board-certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and insurance medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Missouri. He is a member of the American Academy of Insurance Medicine, the ACLI Medical Section and the Midwest Medical Directors Association. He lives in Bloomington, IL with his wife and four children.

Company Sponsorship Clarification- State Farm attendees may be direct billed for the event assuming approval from management. Please verify with your management to determine whether direct billing is approved (this is now a department-level decision at SF). An alternative option is to pay by credit card using the “Pay By Credit Card” option below and apply for reimbursement afterwards.
